What is colloidal silica?
Colloidal silica is a stable dispersion of nano-sized amorphous silica particles in water. These particles are small (in the range of 2-150nm in diameter) and have a large surface area, which can dramatically impact the binding and reinforcing properties of many organic or inorganic systems.
